How It Works
Drop-off: Park your vehicle between 6 PM and 9 PM
Pick-up: Collect your thawed vehicle between 7 AM and 9 AM
Your vehicle sits in our heated bay overnight shedding snow, ice, and moisture. Our facility is fully secured, fenced, and gated. We leave together at drop-off, and your vehicle is locked safely inside until morning.

$53 when booking any service the following morning (Detail Lounge rental, professional detailing, or ceramic coating)

Who Can Rent
Minimum age: 16 years old solo, or 14+ with parent/guardian present
All skill levels welcome from complete beginners to experienced detailers
Bring friends! The car community is fantastic, and detailing is more fun (and faster) with help

What You Can Do
Any detailing, washing, polishing, or protection work
Interior cleaning and extraction
Engine bay detailing (no fluid changes)
Paint correction and ceramic coating application
Wheel and undercarriage cleaning
Booking & Cancellation
Book in advance: Reserve your time days or weeks ahead online through our booking system
Cancellation policy: 24-hour notice required for full refund
15-minute cleanup window included: Each rental includes 15 minutes at end of your session for cleanup and equipment return at no charge
Running over your booked time: If no one is booked after you, a few extra minutes is fine. Just let us know you need a bit more time.
Overtime charges when next customer is waiting: Double the normal hourly rate, prorated in 15-minute increments
Overtime Example: Normal rate is $44/hour ($11 per 15 minutes). If you run 20 minutes over when someone is scheduled next, overtime rate is $88/hour ($22 per 15 minutes). You'd be charged $29.33 for those 20 minutes (one 15-minute block at $22, plus 5 minutes at $7.33).
Why the double rate? Running over impacts the next customer who booked and planned their day around their scheduled time. The premium rate compensates for the inconvenience and encourages everyone to respect booking times.
Extend on the spot? Absolutely, if the bay is available. Just let us know before your time ends and we'll add hours at the normal rate. No overtime charges if you book the extension before your time expires.

Your vehicle: Primitive Notions is not responsible for damage to your vehicle from improper tool or product use. We provide instruction and guidance, but you're responsible for your work
Our insurance: Facility is fully insured. Your vehicle is secured in locked, fenced, gated facility during Thaw & Go service
